I finished high school in the Strand region of the Helderberg, South Africa in 2013 with three distinctions and 3 Bs and one E (Mathematics is not my strong point). Currently I am studying a BA in International Studies at the University of Stellenbosch. I speak fluent English, very good Afrikaans, am studying Mandarin Chinese with aspirations for Russian in the coming years. I am very interested in current affairs particularly of a political nature and relish the chance to write essays based on my research for my political science or history modules. Living in South Africa, I have no shortage of news to keep me thinking, stimulated and interested. I love history with great reference to 20th century history, usually WWII era. I aspire to work in leadership positions be it in the African Union, United Nations or other corporations. World travel is high on my life priority list, with ambitions of visiting China in 2016 and working as an information helper and translator at the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.
