Jon Britton is a software developer and student of Physics in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. His professional goals are centered around plasma-based nuclear fusion and particle physics. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and most of a BA in Biochemistry, and is pursuing an advanced degree in Physics.

Raised working class in New York City, he is essentially autodidactic, having trained himself in computer systems and programming; French, German, Italian, Nahuatl and Mandarin Chinese languages; basic science and elementary engineering; and several art forms, including painting and music composition, at which he is thoroughly terrible.
