I am an free/libre open source software and open knowledge (open content) activist. I organized quite a few conferences on this topic and organized workshops, bootcamps and other events. I work on various projects including Wikipedia, wikidata, openstreetmap, linked open data, free software, the gnu compiler etc. I am working on saving articles from deletion off of wikipedia which do not meet the criteria of notability on the site speedydeletion wikia com. Recently wikia has started to delete articles off the speedy deletion wikia due to the company policy. http://speedydeletion.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:743458 I think that factual articles about public businesses and public business people, artists, actors, models and entertainers should be allowed. I would like to copy some non controversial articles to this wiki.
