I am in the final stages of completing a doctoral degree from Walden University. My topic of interest is "How Student's Perceive Music". After obtaining my Ed.D I plan to construct a music based curicullum to enhance our educational system with a method of educational presentation that will include music to enhance all subjects offered at all levels of education from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. I am also interested in how music has affected education and its impact on student success. I have found that there are studies being conducted on how music effects brain development.
