I come from Bohemia, and now live for many years in Canada. I have earned Czech (Ing.) and Canadian (M.Sc.) degrees related to computers. I worked for many years in many positions writing software, and at the same time playing music. Computation and music were for a long time my two conflicting interests and professions, but not any more -- I am now working towards a joint PhD degree in Computer Science and Music.
