My name is Francis Zaia, I'm in my late twenties, from southwestern Ontario in Canada and have a degree in medical laboratory technology. I am deeply interested and have studied biology, particularly zoology, to a great extent. I am particularly interested in herpetology and enjoyed reading the "Snake venom" and "Daboia" articles as I found them to be well written, factual and engaging. I intend to start writing similar articles on different species of snakes, especially those in the family Elapidae including many of the Naja (or cobra) species and all of the Dendroaspis (or mamba) species. I currently collect venomous snakes and have acquired many books and papers on the subject for reference material.
