Mr. Spink is an entrepreneur, technologist, researcher, and leading proponent of genuine cross-species intimacy as a healthy (but rare) form of human sexual identity. Trained as a cultural anthropologist at Reed College, he went on to an MBA at the University of Chicago and a career as a technology entrepreneur – with many ups and downs along the way. Currently a doctoral candidate in Systems Science / Nonlinear Dynamics at Portland State University, he focuses his academic research on the themes of neurocomputation, algorithmic information compression, theoretical cognitive ethology, and species-independent cognitive frameworks. As well, he brings to his academic work his experience as the trainer and manager of several International-level showjumping stallions. Professionally, he serves as Chief Technology Officer of Baneki Privacy Computing, which provides technological privacy enhancement and management services to customers around the world. Active online for over 15 years as an outspoken proponent of positive, healthy, respectful cross-species partnering, he continues to be a proponent of mutually respectful dialogue with the “normal” world. He shares lifetime bonds with a a mixed-species family of dogs and stallions, living in a hand-built cabin set amongst the North Cascades mountains. He's also an accomplished BASE jumper (BASE 715).
