Arne Martin Torgersen is economist; cand.oecon (masters degree) from the University of Oslo. He is presently working with the Oslo Municipality Auditor as senior economist. He has worked in the Ministry of Government Administration and Reforms for four years (2003-2007)and with the regulator of the electricity market in Norway for eight years (1994-1998, 1999-2003). He has also worked as senior economist at Econ (1998-1999, now Econ Pöyry). He has three years experience as student fellow and research fellow from Ragnar Frisch Centre for Economic Research (1991-1994), including a short-term commission for the World Bank in Zambia (1993).
