U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo [r]: A Foreign Service Officer, Tina Kaidanow was sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo on July 18, 2008; she was promoted from Chief of Mission and Charge d'Affaires at the U.S. Office in Pristina (later the U.S. Embassy) from July 2006 to July 2008.
