Story

As amusing as the story is, it just doesn't seem like something that should be included in the articlespace. See Talk:Maple_Syrup for a similar situation. --Robert W King 21:22, 7 November 2007 (CST)

Parenthesis

What's with all the parenthesis added throughout this article. Especially in the introduction, it makes the article read like a scratched record. Can this info either be incorporated into the prose in a less disjointed manor or deleted. Derek Harkness 04:39, 8 November 2007 (CST)

I agree with Derek, it needs to be expanded to not read like this. --Robert W King 07:34, 8 November 2007 (CST)
Seems to me that the parenthetical information, which is useful, should be moved and incorporated into an article about alcohol. That could describe the ethanol or ethanolics, the differences between wines, beers and spirts, the effects of alcohol (inhibition-reducing, intoxicating) and so forth. That would kill two stones with one bird :) Aleta Curry 15:14, 8 November 2007 (CST)
