I think so. In my experience, people only use the term "MMO" as a shorter version of "MMORPG". --Todd Coles 08:54, 31 August 2007 (CDT)
Old conversation, but in case anyone looks at this later, I would say no. There are several varieties of MMO, and several of them are increasingly popular. --Chris Key 20:10, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
