This is coming along nicely, but I have a number of references on order, especially on his relationship with Fannie. I also need to expand the pre-Gettysburg background, issues while governor, and his semi-retirement and retirement. Howard C. Berkowitz 02:48, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Got some of the references and am digging both in interlibrary loan and other sources. Something broke in the blockquotes that Anthony was tweaking.
Collaboration is very welcome; I think this will be a strong article when ready for approval. While I thought I knew a good deal about Chamberlain, the more I find the subject fascinating.
I wonder if Fanny should get her own article? There is one at WP, without any sources. While it won't be for Version 1, it is possible I could get to some of the manuscript collections, starting with Radcliffe. Anyone live in Maine? Howard C. Berkowitz 23:05, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
