I created this Wikipedia list in March 2007 & it has barely changed there since August. Ro Thorpe 12:50, 2 March 2008 (CST)

See my daring update! Hayford Peirce 13:04, 2 March 2008 (CST)
Fer that matter, ain't Mona Lisa a furrin name er some such? Hayford Peirce 13:06, 2 March 2008 (CST)

È eccellente! - Yes, it's a name & I mentioned those in the introduction. Ro Thorpe 13:10, 2 March 2008 (CST)

I spy with my little eye....a Stand-alone List!

Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!! Aleta Curry 18:02, 2 March 2008 (CST)

Et alors?! Hayford Peirce 19:28, 2 March 2008 (CST)
Zut, alors! We're not supposed to have stand-alone lists. They're supposed to be part of a cluster.
Now, if you're going to ask me ezackly which subpage of what cluster, please don't. This sort of thing seems like a catalogue to me, but then I've been told by them wot should know, that I don't know a catalogue from a related page. So I can't answer.

You got me, Cobber. Life here is becoming so complicated that I may migrate back to WP -- at least there, all I had to deal with was cretins, sub-humans, vandals, third-graders, and illiterates. Here it's a lot more complicated.... Hayford Peirce 21:42, 2 March 2008 (CST)
Ha! I'd be worried if I didn't know you were made of sterner stuff than that. Oh, well, if it's got you *that* upset, I say just leave it here for a while. What harm did one little list ever do to me? Aleta Curry 23:36, 2 March 2008 (CST)
One more thing you gotta remember is that I didn't create this list, catalog, or thingee, it was the egregious Reaux-Rho-Rôt Your Boat Gently Down the Stream! Hayford Peirce 08:56, 3 March 2008 (CST)
Fair cop, guvnor. Anyway, it's now subject to a disclaimer. Perhaps what we need is a catalogue of catalogs. Ro Thorpe 09:55, 3 March 2008 (CST)

There is a catalog of catalogues.  ;-) --Larry Sanger 10:12, 3 March 2008 (CST)

Suddenly, Aleta wasn't feeling very well.... Aleta Curry 20:38, 3 March 2008 (CST)

It won't stand alone long

I suspect someone will write an article called Foreign Films, regarding the definitions used by the Oscars and Golden Globes and whatnot. So, it shouldn't be lonely very long. Besides, some catalogs can be used by many articles, so I don't know why that should be a rule at all. David E. Volk 10:14, 3 March 2008 (CST) oddly, i made this edit successfully a minute ago, no edit conflicts, but somehow Larry's edit just beat me?? David E. Volk 10:14, 3 March 2008 (CST)

Why not a category?

Any particular reason this is being done as an article, and not a category? J. Noel Chiappa 23:10, 3 March 2008 (CST)

If you mean "category" in the Wikipedia sense, we don't have them. Aleta Curry 15:06, 4 March 2008 (CST)
