In United States politics, the pro-life movement deals with a broad range of actions intended to preserve what the proponents consider to be human life. The core issue is abortion, and polls often simply ask if the respondent is "pro-life" or "pro-choice" vis-a-vis abortion.[1]
Depending on the individual or group, the pro-life concept euthanasia and assisted suicide, some or all stem cell research, cloning, all or some contraception, capital punishment and war.
