Mark 6 (nuclear weapon) [r]: Essentially a re-engineered Mark 4 nuclear weapon, lighter in weight but still with the awkward swollen melon shape of the Fat Man nuclear weapon that prevented delivery by fighter planes; yield range went higher than the Mark 4: 8, 26, 80, 154, or 160 kt of TNT equivalent; in service 1951-1962; 1100 were built.
