Hard target penetrators are military devices that penetrate earth, concrete, or rock to disrupt underground structures or to produce specialized effects caused by shock or cavity formation underneath surface structures. They have similarities to anti-tank weapons in that they have to pierce hard material, but differ in that they must travel considerable distances.
