Conan O'Brien

Conan Christopher O'Brien (born April 18, 1963) is an American comedian and host of the television show Late Night with Conan O'Brien on NBC. He was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, attended Harvard University, and became a writer for the Harvard Lampoon magazine. He then worked for various television shows, including Not Necessarily the News, Saturday Night Live, and The Simpsons. After David Letterman moved to CBS in 1993, NBC looked for a new host for the Late Night show. O'Brien auditioned and was chosen as the new host. O'Brien's first show was on September 13, 1993. O'Brien is married to Elizabeth Ann Powel and they have one daughter named Neve, born 2003. In 2007, O'Brien was announced to replace Jay Leno on The Tonight Show when Leno leaves the show in 2009.
