Combined Task Force (CTF) 150 is a multinational task force that responsible for maritime security principally against terrorism, but also piracy, southeast of the Strait of Hormuz, in the Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea, Red Sea and parts of the Indian Ocean. Its counterterrorism authority and mission is based on United Nations Security Council Resolutions 1368, 1373 and 1378, which followed the 9/11 attack.

Since 2001, 24 nations have operated as part of this Coalition task force. It has been commanded by six times by France, four times by Britain, twice by Pakistan and Germany, and once each by Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands and Spain. As of the beginning of 2010, French Navy Rear Admiral Alain Hinden commands CTF 150. The United States Central Command and its maritime component, the United States Fifth Fleet, support it.

It complements Combined Task Forces 151 and 152, which operate in other parts of the waters of the Middle East.
