Bill Posey
Bill Posey (1947-) is a first-term U.S. Representative from the 15th Congressional District of Florida. He is a member of the Republican Party (United States). Previously, he served in the Florida Senate and House, where he worked on improving the election system. He is an award-winning stock car racer, and was a Realtor.

He has not been in office long enough to acquire voting records.
Taxation
He opposes reinstuting the Estate, or Death Tax, H.R. 4154, the Permanent Estate Tax Relief for Families, Farmers, and Small Businesses Act of 2009. [1]
Birther Movement
In May 2009, he introduced H.R. 1503, a bill to require future presidential candidates to provide proof of U.S. citizenship, addressing concerns of the Birther Movement. It has been co-sponsored by Reps. Bob Goodlatte (R-Virginia); and Texas Republicans John Carter, John Culberson and Randy Neugebauer and John Campbell of California (U.S. state). [2] He called it the “eligibility dilemma” and said Internet radio host Andrea Shea King brought it to his attention. He accused the President of hiding something, and then said he had spoken with “high-ranking members of our judiciary committee” about the chances of Obama “being removed from office,” but said there was “zero chance” of success there.
Flag protection
Also in May 2009, he signed the draft Constitutional amendment to empower Congress to act to protect desecration of the American flag.
