AN/BLQ electronics racks

AN/BLQ-10, usually co-installed with the AN/ULR-21 CLASSIC TROLL[1] signals intelligence exploitation system, systems are comprehensive passive electronic warfare and signals intelligence suites for U.S. submarines of the Los Angeles, Seawolf and Virginia classes. The U.S. Navy issued a requirement in 1991, development began in 1994, operational evaluation in 2000, and is in continuous incremental development.[2]

The systems have standard interfaces, including the Joint Maritime Command Information System, connected to the Global Command and Control System-Maritime. When the submarine is on an intelligence-gathering assignment, transportable equipment appropriate for the mission is usually brought aboard and connected to the BLQ-10/ULR-21.

Not including antennas, it physically occupies five full-height 19" racks, two of which contain displays and keyboards, although information may be sent to other tactical displays.
